Vaga Probus Club was formed in 1988 and normally meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 10.30 a.m. at the Ross Conservative Club. In common with other Probus clubs we welcome retired professional or business men who wish to meet regularly for friendship, enlightenment and entertainment.
Throughout the year we also arrange social events to which our partners are invited.

The Conservative Club building is approached by a wheelchair access ramp or by steps. Once within the building, there is flat access to all areas used by the Club on the ground floor.
Our Meetings provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy. The average meeting starts with an entirely informal period where members and guests generally converse over a coffee. This is followed a talk (see our talks programme) which is delivered by either an outside speaker or member, at the conclusion of which, most members stay to enjoy a brief drink at the bar before departing.
What Our Members Say:
“Probus provides me with good and friendly companionship and the opportunity to enjoy some excellent talks, really enjoyable”
“It’s the quality of the talks and the diversity of the subject matter that I really enjoy along with the breadth of experience that the membership represents, which makes for some quite amazing conversations and opportunities to broaden one’s views and understanding.”
“Vaga Probus is a thriving club. During the COVID lockdown, the club kept to its schedule thanks to ‘Zoom’ and we therefore managed to preserve the club’s cohesion during this difficult period. Testament now is that we have a membership of 40+ and a programme of social and speaker events which are varied and comprehensive. All good fun!”
